My fabrics

While in Dallas this summer, I made a trip to P & B Textiles to buy some PFD fabric.  Well, I couldn't leave with only what I came in for now could I.  I found several patriotic fabrics and thought they would be perfect for making a quilt to go to the Fisher House.  One of the small groups I am in, the Quilt Batts, has been making quilts to go to the Fisher House to be given out to soldiers and/or their families.  There's not much we can do to repay these heroes but maybe a quilt will give them a little comfort.

 My friend, Nancy, made a quilt I just loved and was nice enough to share her design and directions. 

I hope mine turns out half as petty.

This is the beginnings of my blocks.  I can't wait to see how they will look when they are finished!
